Cruising on the Kinda kanal
For those who do not explore the Kinda kanal with their own boat there is the possibility to go along on an incredibly beautiful day tour, evening tour or shorter journey with a passenger boat.
A cruise on the Kinda Canal is a journey through both time and space. Take a trip on M/S Kind for a delicious meal, live music, and time with friends, or board M/B Stockholm to explore the Bergs Locks or cruise up to Tannefors.
M/S Kind
On board M/S Kind, which is run by Rederi AB Kind, one can ease away the everyday for a while. Enjoy the wonderful day tours along the Kinda kanal staying centrally with comfortable hotel accommodation, including breakfast, at the Scandic Linköping or Hotell Stångå.
Perhaps a beach package at Rimforsa Strand in Rimforsa. Included in the package is the day tour along the Kinda kanal with M/S Kind, bus or alternatively train connection, morning or afternoon coffee and lunch on-board.
You can also combine hotel accommodation with breakfast at the Scandic Linköping or Stångå Hotell in Linköping, with a fantastic evening cruise on the Kinda kanal. A meal is served on-board and is included in the price. With or without live music entertainment. It is also possible to charter Kind.
If you are the lucky owner of your own boat or canoe, you set out your own course and schedule, but take your time over it. Stress does not belong on the Kinda kanal.

Passenger boat M/B Stockholm is a new addition to Linköping for the 2022 boating season. The boat line connects Linköping’s two canals, Kinda Canal and Göta Canal, and makes it possible to travel between central Linköping and Bergs slussar by waterway. The boat offers three tours:
Bergs slussar to Linköping city (75 minutes)
Linköping city to Bergs slussar (75 minutes)
Guided tour of Linköping (about 60 minutes)
Bergs slussar – Linköping city
The tours between Bergs slussar and Linköping city are estimated to take about 75 minutes, including a lock passage in Nykvarns sluss in Kinda Canal. The boat line will be operated on Saturdays until Midsummer, then twice a day in each direction until the middle of August. The last half of August, the line will also be offered, but with one daily tour in each direction on weekends.
Guided tour of the city
The tour is estimated to take about 60 minutes and goes between Nykvarns sluss and Tannefors slussar. You will be guided through the history and present in a peaceful setting in the heart of Linköping. The tour does not include a lock passage.
